Rules we must follow
Manufacturer Restrictions
Some of the product lines that we offer are limited by a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) or similar manufacturer restrictions.
These products are always advertised at the lowest allowable price. Because of this, we are unable to apply any additional coupons or discounts to the following brands:
What is MAP (Minimum Allowed Pricing):
In its simplest form, minimum advertised pricing (MAP) is the lowest price a retailer can advertise the product for sale. To clarify, this does not refer to the lowest price they can sell it for in their store—just the lowest that they can show online or in an advertisement.
For example, Holley may have a MAP price of $999 for one of their fuel systems. If we put it in an ad, we may not show a price for sale lower than $999. It doesn't matter if that ad is online or in print, the rules are the same.
What are the repercussions of advertising below MAP? Quite simply, the manufacturer has the legal right to pull their products from our store and restrict us from selling them again.
How your discounts apply to MAP pricing:
We must also note, all wheel and tire brands are excluded from any coupon or discount offers.
When you are placing an order that includes one of these products, any percentage coupon will apply for the remaining items on your order.
